For companies which are not members of the Tungsten Consortium, but require access to the Registration Dossier of one or more substances covered by the Tungsten Consortium, a Letter of Access will be essential in order to register those substances appropriately. If a company manufactures or imports a tungsten substance not covered by the Tungsten Consortium, it is possible that read-across data from sodium tungstate will provide much of the core data for the purposes of registration and the Consortium will be happy to discuss this on a case-by-case basis.
A Letter of Access will give the co-registrants of the tungsten substances the right to refer to the technical dossier provided in the Lead Registrant's registration. The Consortium Secretariat will provide co-registrants with the registration token allowing them to register.
Based on the responses to the SIEF surveys, the fee levels for Letters of Access for each substance and for each tonnage band are as follows:
Substance |
Tonnage Bands (t) / Fee per Letter of Access | ||||
